# CSPM

> Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) with CodeAnt AI

### Overview

Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) is the process of securing multi-cloud environments through enhanced visibility, risk and misconfiguration identification, posture assessment, and compliance protocols. CodeAnt AI continuously monitor cloud infrastructure - such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) - for gaps in security policy enforcement.

### Connect a provider

CSPM needs a single **read-only** connection per cloud account. Follow the provider-specific setup to create the role/service account and paste the credentials into CodeAnt:

### Scan schedule

Once a provider is connected, CodeAnt scans every connected account on a recurring cadence. The default is **weekly**.

To change it, open **Settings > Automations > Cloud Security**. The row shows the current cadence for the organization:

* **Edit** sets the frequency: Daily, Weekly, Every 2 weeks or Monthly. It applies to every AWS, GCP and Azure account connected to the organization.
* **Pause** stops scheduled scans until you resume them. Scans started by hand from the Cloud Security page are not affected.

> Scheduled scans are checked after each pull request review in the organization rather than at a fixed time of day. The next scan starts with the first review after the interval has passed, counted from the previous scheduled scan.
